PNW Studios designed all the Balls Brothers’ wine bars in the City of London for this family-owned wine merchant business. The emphasis was on creating atmospheric interiors within unlikely basement locations, some of which presented considerable technical challenges. PNW was responsible for the sympathetic refurbishment of many iconic sites, including the Hop Exchange, Gows, and The Great Eastern Hotel.
