Brasserie Blanc Chichester occupies a mixed-use, new-build development in the St Pancras area of Chichester. The broad frontage faces a sunny courtyard, allowing much of the dining area to be enlivened by views of St Pancras Church through café doors beneath picturesque sun awnings. The building’s lightweight construction and residential usage on the upper floors provided the main technical challenges. A substantial acoustic ceiling across is combined with heavily lined riser shafts to minimise disruption to residents living in the apartments above.
