BRASSERIE BLANC THREADNEEDLE STREET

Set within the ground floor of a high-quality, Eric Parry-designed office building, Brasserie Blanc Threadneedle Street is located in the heart of City of London. The floor-to-ceiling height was sufficient to introduce a semi-private mezzanine dining space with a cosy bar area beneath. Key design aspects include a bespoke glass beer and wine cellar, intimate velvet banquettes, and selected artworks for the mezzanine.

 

Among the main technical challenges were a complex landlord’s approval process and the design and installation of a sprinkler system and fire-rated extract duct rising ten storeys to the plant room.
