LOCH FYNE POOLE

The location chosen for Loch Fyne Poole was a former pub on a pine tree-lined road between Canford Cliffs and Sandbanks in Dorset. PNW Studios re-clad the exterior in cream-coloured fibre cement weatherboarding to give the building a visual lift and to complement its coastal location. The front elevation has been extended with a covered veranda to provide additional ground floor dining space, and to create a more attractive roadside aesthetic. The rooms on the upper floor have been converted into a small boutique hotel. A new rear extension houses a DDA-accessible ground-floor bedroom.
