THE HARE

The Hare is a listed pub building situated at the top of Brooks Hill and Clamp Hill in Old Redding, north London. The presence of two cart sheds suggests that it was a place to stop and rest after horses had pulled a load up the hill. One of the sheds had already been converted into a kitchen,
while the ground floor had been heavily altered with a significant portion of valuable space occupied by staff areas and toilets. The latter have been relocated to the first floor, and the kitchen replanned to improve efficiency. The interior design was has been refreshed, but in a manner that retains
existing lighting and radiator positions to minimise the amount of building work. A major landscaping project has resulted in much improved gardens.
