THE OAKS

This a substantial roadside pub in Highcliffe on the south coast with a large carpark and a reasonable sized garden. Formerly called The Galleon but before this The Hinton Oak the new name harks back to the earlier name. The pub is set back from the road behind a row of mature trees. Some of which are even Oak trees.

The physical changes to this pub were to relocate the customer w.c’s to the first floor and swing the bar servery to the other side of the bar area. This creating a more practical bar servery and a slightly more generous customer area.

The garden area to rear has had a substantial amount improvement with the deck seating area extended, pergola introduced, festoon lighting and little snug beach huts.
