THE QUEENS HEAD

The Queens Head was the first pub that PNW refurbished as a pub for the White Brasserie company. Once again the building was a listed building and the fabric of the building had become neglected. Interestingly PNW had previously refurbished this pub many years before for another client.

The physical alterations required were not too extensive. For instance the wheelchair accessible loo relocated so that the pub customer area could flow through to the dining area in a more natural way. Most of the works were repair works and refreshed finishes and decorations.

Roofs were overhauled, plumbing and electrics replaced, loos refitted out, rotten windows repaired a new kitchen built with a new open charcoal grill. Staff accommodation reappointed. The external presentation was improved by introduction of an outside terrace area with plenty of planting.
